South American Muaythai Open Championships XXX

El Muaythai es un arte marcial de carácter olímpico, promovido por la Federación Internacional de Asociaciones de Muaythai IFMA, la cual tiene representación en más de 130 países y en los 5 continentes.

IFMA fue fundada en 1993. En 1999 inició su camino olímpico, y el 06 de diciembre de 2016 logró la aprobación provisional como deporte olímpico para trabajar durante 3 años por la protección y la promoción de los valores olímpicos.

Desde hace varios años, IFMA viene realizando eventos en los cinco continentes. En Suramérica, el proceso comenzó desde 2004 con el 1er el Campeonato Sudamericano de Muaythai, este año es la oportunidad de Medellin - Colombia para realizar el evento, el cual alcanza este año su versión 30.

l rededor de 150 deportistas de 16 paises diferentes participaran en el 2019 IFMA SOUTH AMERICAN OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP XXX, evento con impacto social y ambiental que tendrá lugar en Medellín Colombia entre el 12 y el 17 de diciembre de 2019.

Muaythai is an Olympic martial art, promoted by the International Federation of Associations of Muaythai IFMA, which is represented in more than 130 countries and on 5 continents.

IFMA was founded in 1993. In 1999 it began its Olympic path, and on December 6, 2016 it obtained provisional approval as an Olympic sport to work for 3 years for the protection and promotion of Olympic values.

For several years, IFMA has been holding events on five continents. In South America, the process began since 2004 with the 1st Muaythai South American Championship, this year is the opportunity of Medellin - Colombia to carry out the event, which reaches its 30th version this year.

About 150 athletes from 16 different countries will participate in the 2019 IFMA SOUTH AMERICAN OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP XXX, an event with social and environmental impact that will take place in Medellín Colombia between December 12 and 17, 2019.
